Cybersecurity Engineer & Wireless Security Researcher

Hi! I'm Diego, a 23-year-old cybersecurity engineer leading compliance & hardening operations at a multinational bank.

With a strong background in infrastructure hardening, security compliance, and real-time operations, I currently lead the team responsible for authorizing infrastructure changes in financial market environments, ensuring critical stability and secure-by-default practices.

Projects I've led

  • Security Compliance & hardening initiatives in critical banking environments.
  • DLP optimization and alignment with global governance.
  • Risk assessment frameworks and security baselines for enterprise systems.
  • Automation of repetitive tasks, all related to my day-to-day job.
  • Coordinate teams across EMEA, LATAM and USA.

What drives me

After my daily job, I dedicate time to ethical hacking practice and personal projects focused on Wi-Fi security research, developing tools and techniques to explore wireless network vulnerabilities and strengthen defensive measures.

While I'm currently preparing for OSCP and CRTO, I'm equally focused on:

  • Wireless security (802.11 and beyond),
  • Exploring malware development for educational purposes,
  • Integrating AI behavior detection into compliance strategies.

Tech & Tools I'm interested in

Linux, Python, Wireless Hacking, Web Security, BigQuery, LookerStudio...

What I'm looking for (and why I'm open)

I'm not just looking for challenges — I'm building a career around strategic cybersecurity.

I thrive in roles where I can both lead and learn, especially if I can contribute to building security processes that scale with people in mind.

I believe that real impact comes from aligning technical depth, process automation, and long-term vision.
